In a cold spring rain
I stop and stare
A starless sky
Just headlights glare

A sudden poem
Drifts through my head
Dispells the cold
The dark, the dread

The warmth of you
Swarms in my mind
Around my heart
You are entwined

And though I'm sad
You're not with me
I have to smile
That soon you'll be
