The vernal equinox which occurs on March 20, 2004...is officially the first day of spring in the Nothern Hemisphere and is only a month away. Losar or Tibetan New Year (more like a spring festival) falls on February 21st (in 2 days).
I like to start out each spring with a new pair of sneakers, funky ones if at all possible. This year I found some fun and *cheap* supergirl sneakers that had that "converse" look to them... and I wore them today for the first time.
Today sneakers, and so flipflop weather cannot be far behind. :)
