My Photo Friday entry for Self-Portrait

I'm sure I'm not alone among photographers out there who really dislike photos taken of themselves. I've been this way all my life... Although at first I was leaning toward a photograph of my own feet, one of my recurring subjects, instead I chose to take a new photograph today. And add a poem.

A Single Flower

A single flower I have become
Just waiting for your touch
I lie here gently in a hand
That says "I love you much"
